A couple of years ago I was wrestling with a lot of lies about God, myself, and life in general. As I prayed about these troubling thoughts and feelings I felt led to start doing what I now call a ‘Daily Drawing’. It is a piece of art that I create with a Bible verse. It has been immensely helpful and God has used this daily art practice in my life to teach me and grow me in many ways. This design is one of my ‘Daily Drawings’, It was originally a colored pencil and ink pen drawing I doodled in one of my many sketchbooks. It features a wreath of colorful flowers, leaves, and grass surrounding Song of Solomon 2:11-12.
