Description
This watercolor painting features a colorful giraffe walking through tall grass. I was inspired to paint a giraffe, but add some unique color changes. It is mostly all warm hues of yellow, red, cranberry and orange, with the head of the giraffe starting out with a dark red and as the color goes down the body it gradually changes. I also incorporated those colors into the grasses as well. The sky is a light cool blue that offsets all of the warm tones.
